Om een soepele overgang en continuïteit in het leiderschap te waarborgen heeft de raad van commissarissen Maarten van de Pol benoemd als opvolger van Agnes Koops-Aukes. Met ingang van 1 november neemt Van de Pol de rol van voorzitter van de raad van bestuur op zich tot en met 30 juni 2026, het einde van de huidige bestuursperiode. Van de Pol behoudt zijn huidige portefeuille als chief operations officer (COO). Zijn CFO-portefeuille wordt tot en met 30 juni overgenomen door zittend bestuurslid Wytse van der Molen.
Agnes Koops-Aukes to Exchange Chairmanship of PwC Netherlands for International Executive Role
Koops-Aukes has been appointed by Global Chair Mohamed Kande and the Network Leadership Team (NLT) and will be responsible for PwC's global market strategy and activities.
PwC Netherlands today announces that, effective 1 November 2025, Agnes Koops-Aukes will transition from her role as Chair of the Board of Management to PwC’s Global Chief Commercial Officer.
Mohamed Kande, Global Chairman, said: ‘I extend my congratulations to Agnes on her appointment. Her proven leadership across complex client transformations and as Chair of PwC Netherlands’ Board of Management will be instrumental in advancing our market-facing strategy and strengthening how we serve our clients across the Network.’

To ensure a smooth transition and continuity in leadership, the Supervisory Board has appointed Maarten van de Pol as successor to Agnes Koops-Aukes. Effective 1 November, Van de Pol will assume the role of Chair of the Board of Management until 30 June 2026, the end of the current term. Van de Pol will retain his current portfolio as Chief Operations Officer (COO). His CFO portfolio will be taken over by current board member Wytse van der Molen until 30 June 2026.
