Data processing

When you use the PwC website, you may act on your own initiative to provide certain personal data or information about yourself. PwC processes this data:

  • to make this website available to its users as well as for purposes of registration with regard to certain parts of the website;
  • to make it possible to send you further information on PwC services by post or e-mail and to improve the services offered by PwC both on the website and elsewhere;
  • to enable you to be sent reference material, marketing material or other publications from PwC, either by post or e-mail;

As a rule, PwC collects no more information from you than necessary for the completion of a request from you. Any cases where you are asked for compulsory information are explicitly indicated on the relevant web page.

Personal information is provided to PwC by you on a voluntary basis. The procedure to unsubscribe or to have your name deleted from a mailing list, for example, will be indicated in a special message to you or by means of information on the relevant page of the website. You may also contact the webmaster of the site with regard to this matter via E-mail Webmaster.

Because PwC may also use its website as a recruitment tool, you may send a curriculum vitae to one of our staff during a visit to the website. The information that you provide in this connection will be used by PwC exclusively for the following purposes:

  • recruitment and selection purposes within PwC;
  • communication purposes, for example to schedule an appointment should PwC wish to invite you to an interview;
  • in the event your application is subjected to processing in order to assess your suitability for a position that is or may become vacant.

PwC will not ask for demographic information, such as gender and profession, but you will have the opportunity to give such information in an on-line application.
