Cyber Security

As a consultant in the CP&IS team, you will focus on making and keeping our clients cyber-resilient. You also help them to continue to comply with privacy regulations such as the GDPR. The team handles technical assignments such as pen testing, red teaming, but also less technically oriented assignments such as maturity assessments. Such a maturity assessment examines how mature an organisation is in terms of privacy and digital security. The team also helps customers to comply with various frameworks and guidelines, such as ISO 27001. We start at the highest level with governance, carrying out baseline measurements and assessments to measure the current situation within an organisation. Together with our client, we draw up a plan of action to reach a higher level. Crisis simulations are also used to make companies more aware of how they should act in the event of a cyber or other crisis.

We also help clients by guiding them through the process of strengthening their cyber security from start to finish. This includes drafting requirements, designing processes and architecture, implementing them and ensuring that the change is embedded in the organisation in a sustainable manner.

From strategy to implementation and execution: CP&IS contributes constructively in all phases to make clients resilient to cyber threats and to sustainably comply with privacy regulations. This goes for high-profile clients in all sectors, in the Netherlands and abroad, in multidisciplinary teams.

As a consultant in the Forensics team, you will be engaged in objective fact-finding, for example in digital and other fraud investigations and incident response. Together with the team, you will reconstruct what happened by searching and analysing digital and other documents, e-mails and interviewing persons involved or possibly involved. In addition, the team also supports clients in disputes. For example, by assisting the client in a case that appears before the court or an arbitrator. These disputes are mainly financial in nature, such as the takeover of a company or a contract that has not been fulfilled. The devil is in the detail: in this field, details can be decisive. It is therefore important that you work accurately and that you have good communication skills.

The Forensics team consists of three sub-teams:

• Team of investigators: both fraud and other investigations (disputes). This team consists mainly of accountants, criminologists and lawyers.
• Digital forensics and e-discovery: making information digitally searchable and supporting clients in the event of a hack. This team consists of technically trained colleagues.
• Data analytics: data research on the basis of the data made available. This work is mainly performed by data analysts.

As a member of the Digital Identity team, you will help our clients create a personalised, user-friendly and secure experience for digital interactions with their clients and partners. These are very diverse projects, for example: achieving solutions to regulate access to digital information for our clients’ employees. In these projects, we ensure, for example, that employees always have immediate access to the services they need (and no more) and that, regardless of the number of services, they only have to log in once. We also ensure that this is done securely. From preventing fraud and protecting intellectual property, to protecting critical data and systems in line with legislation.

Striking this balance between user-friendliness and security also applies to our clients’ customers. How do you know online that the customer is who he says he is? And how do you ensure that the customer sees only his own information and not that of his neighbour? The Digital Identity team works in a fascinating world where digital transformation, customer experience, risk & compliance, organisational design, HR and IT come together. The Digital Identity team in Amsterdam is considered the Centre of Excellence within EMEA. From here, we work with colleagues from all over the world, which means we operate in an innovative and international environment.
