Transparency Report 2022/2023
In this transparency report the Executive Board of PricewaterhouseCoopers Accountants NV reflects on FY 2022/2023 and the various developments throughout the year that are making the work of accountants broader and more relevant. The report also includes contributions from the Public Interest Committee (CPB) and Young Assurance Board, plus a look ahead to the challenges and opportunities of the year ahead.

It was clear over the past year that change is and will always be the only constant. This means that companies, including our own, must be flexible and capable of addressing developments quickly.
Climate change, sustainability reporting and digitalisation are revolutionising our profession. The increased societal and statutory demands for sustainability reporting mean we are being asked to provide assurance on non-financial information in the short term. In addition, digitalisation and the rapid rise of Artificial Intelligence are changing the way both our clients and we at PwC work.
We need to be comfortable with change and that requires an inquisitive and open mindset while continuing to improve the quality of our services in a professional and critical way.
