Lonneke Thissen is a Partner within the pension practice of PwC Netherlands. With over 25 years of experience, she advises pension funds and other organisations on change projects, such as the implementation of the Future of Pensions Act, actuarial services, and risk management.
As a partner, I am responsible for advising pension funds, executive boards, pension administration organisations, and fiduciary managers. Additionally, I assist employers and employee organisations in shaping the pension scheme, including its implementation at a pension fund, insurer, or PPI.
With over 25 years of experience in advising pension funds , executive boards, social partners, fund bodies, and pension administration organisations, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every assignment. I excel at translating complex and technical matters into understandable choices, enjoy working in a multidisciplinary manner, and find it rewarding to bring together different perspectives and opinions to reach a consensus.

I am trained as an actuary, risk manager, and investment analyst, and have extensive experience in leading and providing substantive advice on change projects, such as the implementation of the new pension system, shaping and implementing strategy and policy, collective value transfers, pension fund mergers, changing pension administrators, and optimising administrative and operational processes. Additionally, I advise on risk management, pension schemes, actuarial issues, data quality, model validation, ALM and asset management, legal issues, and the technical feasibility of schemes. I have knowledge of administration and outsourcing, product development, and process optimisation.
