ESG Experience - our virtual reality learning solution

More and more organisations realize that action is needed on ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) themes, but are struggling with how to do this. The SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) are a useful tool, as they include goals to solve the most important ESG issues of our time.

PwC believes it is important that everyone contributes to achieving the SDGs: our own employees and those of our clients and other stakeholders. We, therefore, wish to share our knowledge by creating awareness in different way, including through our SDG Experience.

Your mission: a sustainable world in 2030

Our SDG Experience raises awareness and inspires participants to take action in the field of sustainability. The SDG Experience is a virtual reality movie and interactive game. It combines three elements: Sustainability, Technology and Gamification. Participants are inspired in a unique and innovative way to take action for the SDGs. By means of Virtual Reality, participants are literally placed in different environments. This makes the subject tangible and evokes different emotions in the participant.

Experiential learning

During the SDG Experience, the participant learns about facts and possible solutions regarding the SDGs. Experience how individual actions can positively contribute to achieving 'the mission' and show that innovative technologies can accelerate the sustainable transition.

Our SDG Virtual Reality experience in short:

Interactive VR experience
The VR experience itself lasts 15 minutes, followed by a reflective session with the participants

You can use the SDG Experience as part of a learning program about sustainability or ESG. It is very suitable for letting employees experience the importance of sustainability and putting them into action to live through and implement your sustainability strategy.

The SDG Experience has been tested extensively and has gone through several iterations: more than 3,500 PwC employees and almost three thousand interested parties from 170 other organisations have taken the SDG Experience.
