Equal pay is about much more, however, and increasing political attention to the subject and European legislation means companies must be far more transparent. We’re seeing an increasing political focus on equal pay, including related regulations and legislation. A non-committal approach is becoming obsolete.

‘From a branding perspective and the idea that people are being unfairly paid, you don’t want to be known as an employer who ended up in court for unequal salaries. At the same time, many companies will soon be obliged to provide reports and to include factual figures in annual reports or explanatory notes.’
