What was the problem?

In its early years, the TomTom navigation company developed a software system itself, based on open source. As the company grew and the digital world became ever more complex, the TomTom system was expanded and adapted countless times. This meant that TomTom employees were spending a lot of time on internal work to keep the system up to date and to meet the latest safety requirements.

PwC provides solutions for all IAM components of an online business, for example secure transactions, secure access, smart authentication, and cost-effective access control. These components play a key role in managing risks in today’s digital world.

What was the result?

Because PwC ensures that TomTom’s system remains up to date as regards cybersecurity, TomTom’s employees can focus more on improving services for customers.
