Lisanne Hagens

Tech Trainee

Can you briefly introduce yourself?

I am 26 years old and I currently live in Utrecht. I was a competitive high jumper for a large part of my life and won the Dutch National Championship in 2019. I'm not a high jumper anymore but I'm still very active. I'm into running these days and I like to play tennis or go boxing. I'm also a fitness instructor for a couple of hours a week which I love to do next to my job here at PwC.

How did you experience the introduction week?

The introduction week was great fun! We did so many things, from herding sheep to learning to pitch and we became a very close trainee group. It was a very intensive week, but the best way to get to know each other and the company so well in a very short time.

What do you think makes PwC stand out as an employer?

I really like the culture at PwC. Everyone is open for a chat and it's always nice and fun at the office. But it's also easy to isolate yourself if you need to focus for a while. You can work from home, but I prefer to be at the office every day.

Is there room for personal growth/development within PwC?

There is much room for personal growth and development. There are endless opportunities and projects at PwC in which you can develop yourself further. As long as you indicate it and discuss it with your manager, you can do enough things to grow within the company.

If you are looking for varied, dynamic work in a large company with many opportunities, then PwC is the place to be! It's a very nice, young company and you can be truly yourself here.
