What struck you during your early days at PwC?

‘I was immediately struck by the efforts PwC makes regarding talent management. PwC takes a close look at what you can do and how you can best use your skills. There is also plenty of space to further develop your talents.’

What’s your average working day like?

‘I handle the interviews with candidates and guide them through their application. I also evaluate sponsorships. In addition, I keep a close eye on LinkedIn; it is important for my work that I make the best use of its features for recruitment and, also help my colleagues with it. My working days are therefore quite varied, especially now that I am busy with starting up an IT traineeship.’

What do you like about your work?

‘I am responsible for filling all internal IT vacancies. Finding suitable IT staff is always a challenge. There is not a particular way of doing it, which makes it a nice challenge. I can try all sorts of things. I am also a sparring partner for the IT management team; it makes my work varied.’

What is your team like?

‘It’s a fun group with a very open culture. As I work a lot with my recruitment colleagues within the same IT discipline, many great ideas arise. You sense the space for creativity and sharing your expertise.’

What is still on your bucket list?

‘I would like to participate in different sports activities. And that list is pretty long: climbing, diving, surfing, kite surfing, skydiving and sailing.’

Which project makes you proud?

‘PwC has been working for some time with UAF, a foundation that supports refugees in their quest to study and work. I launched the collaboration at IT with the result that four new colleagues are now working in our department thanks to this initiative.’

“You can make good use of the hour compensation for overtime at PwC.”

What would you say to future colleagues?

‘If you see that something could be improved, don't hesitate to make a plan. Pitch it and implement it. A lot of job crafting is possible at PwC!’
