Within our sector groups you will be part of a team specializing in different types of clients and you will work together with colleagues in multidisciplinary project teams. Knowledge of a sector is of great importance to support our clients in our services in order to create value. Within PwC Risk Assurance, we have extensive sector knowledge that determines the added value of our advice. In a digitalizing world, it is becoming increasingly important to connect not only organizations, but also sectors. In-depth knowledge of the sector spreads opportunities for new and innovative ways of working together.

Our clients range from local players to large multinationals in various market sectors. These include clients such as banks, FMCG, government agencies and energy companies. You work at clients as well as at the office. This makes the work varied and enables you to observe the business processes in different organizations.

You can choose from the following sector groups:

IT & Process Solutions

At IT & Process Solutions, you work for clients within the Retail & Consumer market, Energy & Utilities and Telecom & Media. Moreover, you serve customers in the Transport & Logistics sector and you will work for large international companies specialized in Supply Chain and Industrial Products.

We also have a specialized implementation team that focuses on implementing software solutions for risk management, continuous monitoring and internal audits & compliance. You will be eligble with state-of-the-art solutions from among others: Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics and internal control platforms that focus on Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) within organizations in different sectors. We also advise clients in the field of GRC and help organizations to get their internal control processes in order.

Financial Services

At Financial Services, you will work for banks, insurers, asset managers, real estate and pension funds, including major players in the Dutch market. These clients often take care of assignments in large, international organizations that rely on your ability to quickly understand complicated structures and share your conclusions with various stakeholders. The content of assignments themselves is also diverse, for example, there are projects that require more depth in the IT organization of a company and assignments that focus on all core processes in the business such as opening a current account or managing an investment portfolio. This sector devotes a great deal of attention to technological developments within IT, which is why the Financial Services team also helps clients to deal with innovations such as Blockchain or Robotics in a controlled manner.

Private Companies & Public Sector

At Private Companies & Public Sector, you work for unlisted clients. Examples are private organizations, SME offices and public bodies within education, healthcare, municipal and provincial services. New technological concepts bring major challenges to the private and public sector. Think for example of far-reaching and complex digital transformation processes or the application of Artificial Intelligence in business processes and SMART cities. Within Private Companies & Public Sector you help the client to solve these kinds of complex issues.
