Do you want to comply with reporting requirements in an uncomplicated manner? PwC would be happy to help. PwC represents high quality and aims to ensure that clients meet monitoring, reporting and verification requirements in an uncomplicated manner. Since 2010, we have verified emission reports of a wide range of airlines, with a cost-efficient and solid approach. We have supported the European Commission in the design of both the monitoring and reporting regulations as well as the accreditation and verification regulations and therefore know what's needed inside and out. We have an experienced team with profound subject matter expertise.
In 2019, CORSIA (Carbon Offsetting & Reduction Scheme for International Aviation) came into effect. This is a monitoring system of ICAO which requires virtually all airlines to report the CO2 emissions of their international flights on an annual basis. For 2019 and 2020 all flights will be monitored to set a baseline. In the years following, the airlines are required to show that their emission growth has been compensated with CO2 cancellation units. PwC is accredited by the Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA) to perform worldwide CORSIA verifications for both emissions reports and cancellation reports. We are proud to help the aviation industry to contribute to the worlds' goals on climate change.
Our Centre of Excellence brings the vast knowledge and experience of EU ETS to CORSIA in order to add broader value to clients through consultancy and verification services. We aim to ensure that clients meet monitoring, reporting and verification requirements in an uncomplicated manner.
