Viviana leads our Energy, Utilities and Resources practice in the Netherlands. Viviana is a partner in our Deals (Transaction Services) practice, with a strong financial background in PwC's audit practice.


Viviana has a cum laude Masters degree (drs.) in Economics and Business as well as a postgraduate Register Accountant (RA) degree from the Maastricht University (The Netherlands). Viviana also has a postgraduate degree in Controlling (EMFC) from the Nijenrode University. She also has two certificates in Positive Psychology and Neuroscience from the Radboud University in Nijmegen. She is fluent in Dutch, English and Spanish, and has a working knowledge of German and French. 

Key client experience

Viviana has experience with clients like Royal Dutch Shell, Alliander, Intergen, Petrogas, Pluspetrol, Vivo Energy, Vattenfall, Chevron, Eon and BHP Billiton. Viviana is used to operate at Board level, and she values an open relationship with her clients.

Other roles

Viviana founded the Women in Energy network in 2009, which connects women in leading positions at energy companies. She also has an important role in improving employee wellbeing, as well as talent management and diversity within the firm.

Viviana was one of the partners responsible for Change (implementing the cultural change program and increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes using modern tools like data analysis) in the PwC Netherlands Assurance practice.

Viviana was a Board member of the NBA (Nederlandse Beroepsorganisatie voor Accountants) which is the Dutch association of Certified Accountants (RA). She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Executive Master of Finance and Control (RC) at Nyenrode University.


Viviana is married and has 2 children of 18 and 15.  She plays field hockey and tennis, and likes spinning and walking. Additionally she has a particular interest in the topics relating to physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing.
