Integrated Reporting: putting it into practice

Integrated Reporting (IR) is gaining momentum

The current corporate reporting framework needs to evolve to reflect the wide range of factors that affect corporate performance. The current focus on an organization’s financial statements is insufficient to answer the question: what is the value of the organization? At the heart of (IR) is the growing realization that a wide range of factors determine the value of an organization – some of these are financial or tangible in nature and are easy to account for in financial statements (e.g. property, cash), while many are not (e.g. people, natural resources, intellectual capital, market and regulatory context, competition, energy security).

This training is both informative and interactive. We will make use of case studies, best practices, benchmarks, videos and exercises throughout the training to challenge you to put the concept of (IR) in your own organization’s context.

  • You will understand the elements of the (IR) Framework and which steps to take to move towards a more integrated way of reporting;
