Regeerakkoord VVD en PvdA en de impact op beloning in de financiële sector
De VVD en de PvdA hebben recent hun Regeerakkoord gepresenteerd. Hierin is ook een tweetal afspraken opgenomen welke van belang zijn voor de financiële sector: (i) de maximering van variabele beloningen in de financiële sector tot 20% en (ii) de maximering van ontslagvergoedingen tot een half maandsalaris per dienstjaar, met een totale grens van 75.000 euro.
Coalition agreement and the impact on pay in the financial sector
The VVD and the PvdA have recently presented their coalition agreement. Included are two measures which are important for the financial sector and could potentially have a significant impact: (i) the variable remuneration in the financial sector is maximized at 20% and (ii) the termination benefits are maximized at half a month's salary per year of service, with a absolute maximum of EUR 75,000.
