About the programme budget vulnerability analysis

“What is your blind spot?”

Governments need to prepare for the future. PricewaterhouseCoopers’ programme budget vulnerability analysis will give you insight into the impact of demographic developments such as age composition, family composition, income and ethnicity on your programme budget. We will map out the most important developments and carry out a vulnerability analysis, which will show you how these demographic developments will influence the various components of your programme budget and whether the relation is positive or negative. PwC’s will take you along on this exploration and help you determine how your multi-year budget is going to be affected. You will know instantly where the key challenges lie. The vulnerability analysis was developed for public and private sector organisations.

About the Human Resources Simulation Tool

PricewaterhouseCoopers has developed a model that will show you how your current staff pool is going to develop in the years to come (in both the long and the short term) and how this is going to affect your staffing costs.

The model addresses the following questions:

  • How can we keep staffing costs (e.g. salary sums, pension burdens) under control, now and in the future?
  • How can we make sure that we’re able to find competent staff to fill future vacancies?
  • What kind of policy will produce optimum cost-savings?
  • How can we achieve a healthy balance between young and older employees?

By analysing your staff pool, we are able to map out the following effects:

  • The required influx of staff
  • Career movements from various positions
  • Personnel and pension cost development.

About the Opportunity Accelerator

The opportunity accelerator is an innovative product aimed primarily at exploring the opportunities ageing may hold for your organisation. With the help of our ageing scan and by assessing region-specific demographic developments, PricewaterhouseCoopers studies the impact ageing might have on your organisation. By means of interviews and workshops, we are able to map out the opportunities ageing has to offer and identify which three are the most relevant to your particular situation. These three opportunities will subsequently be worked out during so-called accelerator sessions to allow your organisation to take action right away. Obviously we can offer you assistance in making the changes needed to make optimum use of these opportunities, for instance by helping you draw up project plans and budgets.
